Health Quotient or Health Q for short, is our mathematical term which defines the sum of our physical, chemical and emotional state of health. It represents our holistic approach to optimise a person’s wellbeing.
Our clinics in Cyprus and Scotland offer the highest level of clinical standards and expertise and aim to help people in our community to achieve their greatest health potential. Costas and Eline are registered Chiropractors in Cyprus. They are successfully offering their services in the community, as chiropractors in Larnaca and Chiropractors in Nicosia
Eline Pedersen
BSc, MSc, Doctor of Chiropractic
Recognized as an award-winning international speaker and exceptional chiropractor.
Eline is passionate about helping her patients achieve optimal health and wellness. She graduated in 2004 from Anglo-European College of Chiropractic. Eline ensures that patients are at the centre of their healthcare —respected, informed and offered the best available evidence-based practice from their chosen health team.
Passionate About Helping Women and Children
Eline has dedicated her career to understanding the effect of birth trauma on the developing child, and the pregnant and birthing woman’s health and well-being in transition to motherhood. She loves the chiropractic role in the multidisciplinary birthing team, working together for the best possible birth outcome. Her goal is to reduce the chances for physical, chemical and emotional stress and trauma during pregnancy and birth.
In 2014 Eline took the initiative to the now well-recognized nonprofit organisation Birth Forward in Cyprus. The organisation was founded by health professionals, parents and individuals with a common passion for improving the birthing culture and high statistics of interventions at birth.
As the president of Birth Forward Eline has a passion for promoting awareness of the European Medical Guidelines while supporting the natural birth process when possible.
“Under my presidency, the volunteer organisation is currently working with the partners in several countries and the Ministry of Health in Cyprus to provide information about the creation of the family from conception to when a baby is 6 months old. Through the EU-funded project Baby Buddy Forward this information will be disseminated in five different languages to the multicultural population of the Middle East and Cyprus.”
Costas Hadjikonstantinou
BSc, MSc, Doctor of Chiropractic, LRCC
Why chiropractic?
“The simplicity behind the concept of using the spine to improve someone’s health, without the need for drugs or surgery, was primarily why I became a chiropractor. The ability to find what is wrong with a spine, still fascinates me. Also, the ability to realign a spine with a careful, accurate and specific adjustment, is a skill that only a chiropractor can do.”
Looking at the body holistically as the sum of its systems and identifying the imbalances and root causes of ill health, is another difficult task. The epidemic in chronic illness, has led Costas’ continuous professional development to include the principles of Energy Medicine and Functional Medicine to collect indications for many of the unexplained gastrointestinal, hormonal and neurological symptoms that many of the clinic’s patients present with and help them return to their normal wellbeing.
Graduated in 2003 from the Anglo European College of Chiropractic in Bournemouth, Costas has worked in the UK initially but soon after he has established himself in Cyprus country where he has been successfully running two chiropractic clinics as well as travelling regularly to Scotland to manage Aberdeen Chiropractic Clinic with his wife Dr Eline Pedersen.
