Eline was passionate about helping her patients achieve optimal health and wellness. She graduated in 2004 from Anglo-European College of Chiropractic. Eline ensured that patients were at the centre of their healthcare —respected, informed, and offered the best available evidence-based practice from their chosen health team.

Passionate about helping women and children

Eline dedicated her career to understanding the effect of birth trauma on the developing child, and the pregnant and birthing woman’s health and well-being in transition to motherhood. She loved the chiropractic role in the multidisciplinary birthing team, working together for the best possible birth outcome. Her goal was to reduce the chances for physical, chemical, and emotional stress and trauma during pregnancy and birth.

Education, Techniques & Achievements

Dr Petitclerc went to the Franco European Chiropractic Institute (IFEC) in Paris. In addition to her chiropractic degree, she possesses the following:

Webster Certification
Certification by the Academy Council of Chiropractic
Pediatrics (CACCP) from the International Chiropractic
Pediatric Association
Certification in Bio-Energetic Synchronization Technique (BEST)
Qualification as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC)

“Over the years, I’ve had the privilege to work in four countries and get trained in many different techniques.” The method Dr Petitclerc often uses is cranial sacral therapy. She uses it to focus on headaches, patients’ airways, oral ties and jaw issues. Bioenergetic Synchronisation Technique (BEST) is another method she often utilises. The considerable training Dr Petitclerc undertook has prepared her to address more physical, chemical and emotional issues that patients have. A highly regarded international lecturer, Dr Petitclerc also gives talks to different associations. She mainly lectures in France when in person, but also does online training on her website. Dr Petitclerc is well-versed in oral function and tongue-tie issues and gives lectures to different symposiums on the matters.

In 2014, Eline took the initiative to establish the now well-recognized nonprofit organization Birth Forward in Cyprus. The organization was founded by health professionals, parents, and individuals with a common passion for improving the birthing culture and reducing high statistics of interventions at birth.

Eline served as the president of Birth Forward until 2022. During her presidency, she managed to promote awareness of the European Medical Guidelines while supporting the natural birth process whenever possible. The volunteer organization, under her leadership, worked with partners in several countries and collaborated with the Ministry of Health in Cyprus, leading to the creation of an EU-funded project called Baby Buddy Forward.

This project, now available in five different languages to support the multicultural population of the Middle East and Cyprus, provided information about the journey of creating a family from conception to when a baby is 6 months old.
